Genesis

The vision of Genesis began in September of 1995, when husband and wife team Pastor Chris Lane and Pastor Jane Lippert gathered in their living room with a core group of 20 to pray, plan and launch a thriving mission and ministry in the Ada/Forest Hills area.  Soon the gatherings moved to a township hall and later to Forest Hills Central High School auditorium. 

In 2005 Genesis UMC moved into its current location at Watermark Center--a 23,000 square foot renovated and recycled chrome plating plant. Named for an expression of celebrative hope, Genesis is a place to begin, belong and become.
