We’ll celebrate FaithWorks on Saturday, April 17 this year--with the entire church engaging in some kind of hands-on mission work. It's a powerful and joyful experience to serve God and community, side by side, on the same day. We're upping our goal to 200 registered participants this year.

In 2009,125 Genesis members volunteered to work at 11 sites for our first annual Faith Works Mission Sunday (April 26). Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't cooperate, so Crash's Landing and John Ball Zoo projects were cancelled. About 75 showed up to enjoy breakfast before heading to their missions. Many thanks to the team leaders and volunteers who made the Sunday a success! We are planning to offer even more mission opportunities next year for all age groups.
