JAM: God Can Keep the Jar Full [Jan 10, 2010]
Our lesson this week was titled "God Can Keep the Jar Full," and as some of you have already guessed, it was about Elijah and the widow at Zarephath. As the story goes, God sent Elijah to this widow and told him that she would provide him with food and water, but when he got there, she had only a little flour and a little oil, and she and her son were "preparing to die." But through God, once she provided Elijah with bread, the jar of flour and the jug of oil were never empty, no matter how many loaves of bread they made.
