JAM: Jesus Can Heal A Leper [Jan 17, 2010]
As we continue our "God Can Do Anything" unit, we are changing our focus slightly to Jesus and his works. Our lesson this week was on the story of Jesus healing a leper. We danced and sang songs like "Jesus Is the Best, Oh Yes!" and "Touch the Sky." Our activities included ways that Jesus helps us with situations we have today, like dealing with a broken arm, the flu, or a scraped knee. The first was sort of a flashback to our Detective Ivan Spyvan days where we listened to clues dealing with how Jesus helps us through our troubles, and the second was a sort of hot potato game, but instead of being out you got to hear the question and try to give an answer about how God helps us through certain situations.
