Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am
Worship at Genesis is participatory. In worship we create space for the congregation to actively connect to God using song, silence, ritual, liturgy, and drama. We embrace John Wesley’s direction to “Sing all!” — inviting everyone to give fully of themselves in worship.
Worship at Genesis is inclusive. Our worship style is creative and organic, allowing us to imagine how we might reflect the diversity of our Creator.
Worship at Genesis is transformative. We believe that worship unifies and awakens us to join Christ in serving and blessing the world. Worshiping together as a community both inspires and sustains us to become people whose daily lives glorify God.
Contemplative Worship Experiences
Exhale: Evening Worship by Candlelight
Using the Taizé style of prayer which incorporates scripture reading, simple songs and quiet time for reflection, this peaceful evening prayer will allow time to be still and know that Christ is near.
Waiting on the Lord
Those that wait for the Lord shall renew their strength. – Isaiah 40:31. Waiting for your next calling? Seeking clarity for next steps? Waiting for an answer to prayer? Even though we know God’s timing is perfect, it can still be hard to wait. With a backdrop of instrumental music, the sanctuary is open for silent prayer with others. Experience the support of your church family while you do the hard work of waiting.
