Easter at Genesis 2010:
"Birthquakes" & Other Signs of New Life
The worship team is looking for volunteers willing to share their testimony--or a part of it--for Easter Sunday service. This Easter, we are celebrating the resurrection not only of Jesus the Christ, but of the new life that we ourselves find in Christ.
Here are the details:
- You will not be required to speak in any way. The testimonies are written.
- You will not be anonymous, so this will require courage and humility.
- Your testimony will be written on a piece of cardboard. We're asking you to name one thing God has done for you that you would like to celebrate.
- During the cardboard testimony portion of the service, you will simply walk out to the front of the stage, show your sign briefly and move to the side of the stage.
Some may be celebrating huge, life-changing events, some may be more subtle. The point is to have a wide range of testimonies.
If you are interested in participating in the cardboard testimony for Easter at Genesis, please contact Pastor Sue Petro. If you need help putting words to your testimony, we can do that too. We are looking for AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE, so please don't think, "Oh they probably already have enough." If you are willing to do this, we want you to participate.
